Real Vs Steal ~ Embroidered Shirts

Kate Bosworth wearing Isabel Marant embroidered shirt Its time for another “Real Vs Steal” feature ~ I know I haven’t done one in ages, and this week I’m crushing on embroidery in all its loveliness! I first spotted these beautiful embroidered  shirts on Kate Bosworth at Coachella last year (read more here) last year but after rooting around for them I learned that they were Isabel Marant, and therefore a bit out of my price range unfortunately! I was delighted to discover recently that Penneys (Primark) have them in stock right now, retailing at just under €15 ~ delighted! I snapped up one, as you can see in the photo above from my instagram  They come in a cream and a white colour, with different embroidery designs, and they are just gorgeous. Holographic

Dress : AxParis // Clutch : H&M // Boots : Sam Edelman // Necklace : Primark/Penneys Considering how much you all liked my Holographic-themed inspiration post, (click here to read) I couldn’t wait to show you guys my new Holographic clutch from H&M. AxParis have some amazing dresses at the moment, so be sure to check out their new arrivals section to see some of their goodies 🙂 I also picked up some lovely neon jewellery pieces in Penneys (Primark) last week, and this pink one goes perfectly with the outfit! I love pops of bright colour on black outfits, I think its a really fun way to incorporate trends like Neon and Space-Age into your wardrobe…

Anyway, now that the Holographic look has been adopted in a more fashionably-appropriate manner, I think that it’s a really fun trend to play with. For fear of looking like a full-on Space-Cadet however, I would recommend working this trend into your accessories, or a singular piece in your outfit, such as a skirt or tee-shirt. Holographic nail polish is also a big winner, and I’ve been told that the reasonably-priced “Gosh” brand have a great dupe for the Chanel one above! I also know that this trend hasn’t really hit the high-street just yet, but keep an eye out, as shops such as…
